By accessing or using Sportsoholic ("the App"), operated by Burnt Orange LLC ("we," "us," "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Sportsoholic is a free-to-play entertainment and social prediction game. Players predict baseball at-bat outcomes for virtual points ("cash points" or "$") that have no real-world monetary value. The App is not a gambling service, sportsbook, or betting platform. No real money is wagered, won, or lost.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent. By using the App, you represent that you meet these requirements.
The virtual currency ("$" points) used in the App has no real-world value and cannot be exchanged for real money, goods, or services. The App does not facilitate, encourage, or constitute gambling of any kind. All points are for entertainment and scorekeeping purposes only.
You agree not to:
Users may set custom game names, display names, and custom rewards/penalties ("stakes"). You are solely responsible for content you create. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these terms. We do not endorse or take responsibility for user-generated stakes, rewards, or penalties.
"Party Mode" allows hosts to set custom rewards and penalties for winners and losers. The App does not prescribe, suggest, or encourage any specific activity including the consumption of alcohol. Any rewards or penalties are set entirely at the discretion of the game host and participating players. All players must be of legal age for any activities they choose to engage in. Please play responsibly.
All content, design, code, pixel art, animations, and branding in the App are owned by Burnt Orange LLC. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the App without written permission.
You may create an account via Google sign-in, email/password, or use the App anonymously. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. We may store gameplay data, scores, and profile information as described in our Privacy Policy.
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, accuracy of game simulations, or preservation of game data. We are not affiliated with Major League Baseball (MLB) or any professional sports organization.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Burnt Orange LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
